  Well I enjoy breaking bones! Not my own of course… Bone is a fascinating material because it’s alive – it’s full of living cells. So if you’ve ever broken a bone you will know that it can repair itself – with a bit of help from a doctor to put it back straight again. I’ve been studying how bone can do this – how it knows that it has been broken and how it goes about repairing itself.
