I wanted to become an engineer because i love to take things apart, find out how they work and then put them back together. I always liked solving problems, making things better and always loved all types of machines.
Engineering allowed me to design and build new things, improve current machines and help improve peoples lives.
I worked as a chemist in a small medical device company, I just made sure the right formulation of chemicals were mixed to make part of a device for the esophagus. I watched the engineers make the full device and take that very device to animal trials and hospitals. They would come back full of energy and straight away make improvements to the device.
I wanted to be a part of that, so I started from there.
I enjoy problem solving. Ever since I was little I like to know how things work. Through school I was interested in Maths and Physics and all these things together led me to engineering
