  No way, everything we use these days is made up of moving parts.
  Mechanical engineers will always be in demand I reckon.

  Of course not. It will probably get even more advanced than it is today.

  Definitely not! Engineers aren’t taught to work on just one type of technology, we’re taught how to approach and build all types!! I’m sure there were many mechanical engineers that helped build the first electric cars and electronics. Engineering will never be obsolete and good colleges don’t only teach you to be one type. 🙂
