  A teleportation device. I know that might make my job as a propulsion engineer redundant but I’m an 11 hr flight away from my family (and the rest of Ireland!) and I would really really like to be able to appear in my friends house or my family kitchen!!

  I want to create a warp drive!!!!! This would be amazing to create!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂 Warp drive is folding space, in 2012, “NASA researcher Harold White hypothesized that by changing the shape of the warp drive, much less negative mass and energy could be used”. The crazy thing is that NASA engineers have begun preliminary research into such technology!!!!!!!!!

  Fully functioning quantum computers don’t exist yet but many scientists and engineers around the world are working hard to make one.
  The computational power of a working quantum computer might lead to the discovery of new materials by making it possible to simulate the behaviour of matter at the atomic level.
