0 Question: What is the area of the sun? Keywords: area, star, sun Asked by The FishFinger Killer to Sita, Rory, Brian on 4 Mar 2019.
Sita Karki answered on 4 Mar 2019:
The surface area of sun is 6.09×10^12 km^2, that is a big number to remember.
To make it easy, if you put 12000 Earths together, it will have same surface areas as sun, this one you will never forget.
Rory Scarrott answered on 4 Mar 2019:
… what Sita said 🙂
It’s kinda class to think of it as 12,000 Earths (we are on a tiny rock!), or 6 TRILLION square kilometers (mind… blown).
