      I only ever designed a toy car using CAD (Computer Aided Design) – but my friend works at Jaguar Land Rover, so she designs cars!

      Never a real car – only a toy one 🙁 Maybe one day I will! Some of my students here in TU Dublin are doing their projects on an electric racing car that will compete in a competition called Formula Student. They’ll get to race their car against cars from other universities on the race track at Silverstone!

      No, I have never designed a car, but I would love to.
      I think it would have to be limited to a kit car or a rally car, based on an existing chassis.
      Modern cars are extremely complex, requiring hundreds of different skill sets and tools, and massive teams with huge budgets.
