Only if I’m in a lab, then I have to wear a labcoat, gloves, and sometimes glasses too. Generally I just wear clothes that I like and feel comfortable in!

When I am in the lab I need to wear protection clothes. In the office I would just wear fancy if there is an important meeting or conference.

No, I can pretty much wear whatever I want. I normally wear runners, jeans and a hoodie. For some tasks I need to put on safety equipment though, such as safety glasses when drilling or soldering.

Depending on what we are doing, sometimes we have to wear labcoats and eye protection.
In my previous job, we had 2 clean-rooms where the implanted pacemaker, defibrillators, and spinal cord and deep brain stimulators were built. The temperature and humidity were controlled and monitored in the clean-rooms to ensure the manufacturing process was consistent.
The amount of particles of dust in the air was also monitored, and special air filters were used.
When we went into the clean room we had to wear shoe covers, labcoats, protective glasses, hairnets and even beard nets.
Everyone had to wash their hand thoroughly on their way into the clean-room.
All this was necessary to prevent contamination of the devices that could result in a patient getting an infection when it was implanted.
The devices also went through a sterilisation process before they were shipped to hospitals.
