I do not believe it would happen, robots will make our life easier and people would focus in relevant aspects related to well being of humanity, maybe finding solutions to poverty, hunger, global warming, war, etc. I think every human being should act thinking on the benefit of the other people and the planet… hopefully we all move in that direction.

There is no doubt that many human jobs will be replaced by robots in the next decade or two. I don’t expect robots to completely replace humans in every job (at least not for a long time), but jobs that are repetitive are likely to be automated quite soon. Even if robots aren’t completely independent, they will allow the same amount of work to be done by a smaller number of humans, so we’ll have to figure out what everyone is going to do for work in the future!

No, I don’t think robots are going to take over our lives.
There are some situations where robots really can make lives better and easier for us, but I think most people like to do things for themselves. It’s often rewarding.
I don’t know if I’d be happy in a world where I didn’t have to do anything for myself.
Having said all that, a robot that could have the perfect cup of tea waiting for me first thing in the morning world be real great.
