Both. Most of the things I work on (and most things in engineering) involve team work, but even then there are tasks that I’ll go and work on alone. Sometimes you need to just focus on something by yourself to get it done and that can be very enjoyable. However, larger projects will always require working with other people, so being good at that is important. I think great engineers are good at working in a team and good at working alone. Working well in a team can take practice and sometimes it’s difficult, but the results can be so much greater than you could ever achieve alone!

Both! I work in a group but each of us work on different things. We share ideas and help each other! it is really nice! I also work with post graduate students, I mentor them!

It depends on the project. In some cases, only electronics input is required and I might be able to complete the tasks on my own.
For larger or more complex projects, a larger team of electronics engineers along with other disciplines may be required.
It”s good getting to work with people with different skill sets.

I work in a group with other 18 researchers, this help us to solve problems better since each of us has unique skills and ways to face different challenges. I am learning loads from them, and hopefully they also learn from me 🙂
