It depends a lot on the time of year. During the busiest part of the teaching term, I sometimes have 10 or 11 hour days in work, but most days are shorter than that. A typical work day would be 11am to 7pm. During the summer I work shorter days and spend a lot of time working on research projects and my own inventions.

I did my school in Italy. We have 5 years of primary school from 5 to 10, three years of middle school from 11 to 13/14, and then 5 years of high school. My high school was a “liceo scientifico”. “Liceo” means that we had Latin and philosophy classes, and “scientifico” because it was focused on math and Physics!
My secondary school was Newpark Comprehensive School in Blackrock, Co Dublin. It’s a great school with lots of creative and talented teachers and first-class facilities for engineering, technology, construction and other technical subjects. It has excellent sports facilities too.
