      I am actually a physicist, but I am working in the field of biomedical engineering, where you apply knowledge in chemistry, computer sciences, physics and biology to develop clinical devices.

      I’m an electronic and electrical engineer. My current work is in designing electronic circuits to control infusion pumps.
      In past jobs I’ve worked on muscle stimulators, semiconductor design, and manufacturing pacemakers, defibrillators, spinal cord and deep brain stimulators.

      A biomedical engineer: I have studied different engineering subject (mechanical, electronic, communication, etc) but all applied to medicine solutions.

      I’m basically an electrical/electronic engineer, but most of my research is in biomedical engineering. It’s hard to define the exact boundary between different engineering disciplines – they all overlap.
