I find different places good for different kinds of work. If I’m programming or writing a document, I find the kitchen table good late at night when the house is quiet. If I’m working on some electronics or a robot, I like to work in the labs in college because there’s really useful equipment there like oscilloscopes, power supplies and multimeters. Also there’s plenty of components and materials like resistors, capacitors, microchips and wires. Finally, if I’m doing trying to come up with some new ideas, or think up a solution to a problem, I like to site in a cafe or the staff room in college with my notebook and pencil.
I always work best in the electronics lab, even if I’m not doing hands on technical work. It tends to be quieter than the office area, and if you have any ideas or thoughts that you need to test, all of the required tools and parts are close to hand.
